Static and realtime, published
Your GTFS feed validated before every publish; vehicle positions and service alerts published as GTFS-Realtime. Trip updates — arrival predictions — are not built and not promised: we ship positions.
Miles Transit
A live map of your buses on your own website, your GTFS and GTFS-Realtime feeds authored and maintained, and a 60-day installed pilot with a hard end date. The transit product, whole.
STEP 1·DAY 0
A phone in each bus running our free Miles Tracker app, the GPS or AVL you already pay for, or trackers we loan you. Which one fits your fleet is a ten-minute conversation, not a purchase order.
STEP 2·SAME DAY, OR ~30 MIN / BUS
A phone takes one QR code and about two minutes. A wired tracker is three wires — power, ground, and ignition sense. No shop visit either way, and we walk the first one through on a call.
STEP 3·SAME WEEK
Your web person pastes one line. The map appears on your page, under your branding. Riders never leave your domain.
STEP 4·WEEKS 2–6
We build your GTFS and GTFS-Realtime from your timetable, keep them valid as you change service, and we handle the submission to Google Maps and the Transit app. Approval is theirs and takes weeks.
Price
$49–$69
per vehicle, per month. $199 monthly minimum. A 6-bus county system pays $354.
Month to month. No termination fee. We take a purchase card.

What the National Transit Database actually asks for, in plain language, and the honest note that you do not need Miles to comply. Read it.
We hand the GTFS files over in a zip on request, and the feed URLs keep serving until you tell the registries to drop them.
Built to WCAG 2.1 AA, with a published conformance report that names the one criterion we do not meet yet.
Sized so most agencies can buy without running one. Check the current threshold against your own FTA and FAR guidance; we will not quote a number we cannot stand behind. Purchase orders, invoicing and annual prepay are all fine.
Installed, with a check-in call and a hard end date. Up to 4 loaned trackers whatever the fleet size — and every other vehicle on a driver's phone for the same 60 days at no charge.
