Pricing

The Whole Price Is On This Page.

Per vehicle, per month. Hardware included. Nothing to ask us for.

Monthly price per vehicle
Fleet sizePer vehicle / monthExample monthly total
1–4 vehicles$69$276 for 4
5–8 vehicles$59$472 for 8
9–12 vehicles$54$648 for 12
13 or more vehicles$49$980 for 20

$199 per month minimum. Your rate is set by the bracket your vehicle count falls in on the first of the month; 13 or more vehicles pay $49 each, however many you run. Adding a vehicle never lowers the bill.

Hardware Is Included, Loaned Free

We buy it, we ship it, we own it. There is no capital line item and nothing to depreciate. If you cancel, you box it up and send it back.

Month to Month

No multi-year term, no termination fee, no renewal auto-escalator. Cancel with a month's notice and the equipment goes back.

60 Days Free, Installed

Hardware, install support, map, and feed authorship. A scheduled check-in call, and a hard end date we tell you at the start.

We Take a Purchase Card

The monthly charge can go on a card, which skips vendor onboarding, W-9 chasing, and net-45 invoicing entirely.

Sized to Stay Under the Micro-Purchase Threshold

Priced so most agencies can buy it without running a procurement. Check the current threshold against your own FTA and FAR guidance before you rely on it. We won't quote you a number we can't stand behind.

What Isn't Billed

Install support, feed authorship, feed maintenance as your service changes, replacement of a unit that fails, and the Google and Transit app submissions. No setup fee. The one hardware charge that exists: a loaned tracker that is lost, or comes back damaged beyond fair wear, is billed at $149.

Already Have GPS, or Want to Use Phones?

Same product: the rider map, the embed, the console, and both feeds authored and maintained. $5 a vehicle less on every bracket, because you supply the device and its data. Three ways in:

  • Your drivers' phones, running our free Miles Tracker app. One QR code per phone, about two minutes each. No fee.
  • A GTFS-Realtime feed you already publish. We read the standard, whoever made it. No fee.
  • A telematics system such as Geotab, Samsara, Verizon Connect or Zonar. $1,500 one time for the first customer on a system we have not connected before, and nothing for the next customer on it. Today that is every one of them: the only connector built so far is the GTFS-Realtime reader above.
Monthly price per vehicle with your own GPS or phones
Fleet sizePer vehicle / monthExample monthly total
1–4 vehicles$64$256 for 4
5–8 vehicles$54$432 for 8
9–12 vehicles$49$588 for 12
13 or more vehicles$44$880 for 20

$199 per month minimum, the same brackets as the table above, and the same free pilot. Only want the feed, with no live map from us? That is priced on its own: feed only.

Questions We Get Asked First

What happens if we cancel?
Service stops at the end of the paid month. We send a prepaid return label for the trackers; one that is not back within 30 days of your last paid day, or comes back damaged beyond fair wear, is billed at $149. Your GTFS files are yours. We hand them over in a zip, and the feed URLs keep serving until you tell registries to drop them.
Can we pay annually on a purchase order?
Yes. Twelve times the monthly bill, invoiced once, no discount and no markup: the same price either way. Ask for it when you sign.
Who owns the data?
You do. Position history, stop and route data, and the feeds we author for you. We don't sell it, license it, or aggregate it into a product.
What if we sell or retire a vehicle?
Pull the tracker, tell us, and it moves to the replacement bus. Your bill follows your active vehicle count on the first of the month, subject to the minimum.
Do you install it?
Your mechanic does, in about 30 minutes per vehicle: three wires. Power, ground, and an ignition-sense wire that tells the tracker when the vehicle is running. It only reads that circuit; it cannot start, stop or affect the engine. We're on a call for the first one and we confirm each unit is reporting before you move to the next.
We already have GPS or AVL. Does that change the price?
Yes, down: $5 a vehicle less on every bracket, because you supply the device and its data. If your system already publishes GTFS-Realtime, or your drivers carry phones, there is no fee of any kind. If it is a vendor API we have not connected before, $1,500 once, and nothing for the next customer on that vendor. The table is above.
We already have a GTFS feed. Does that change the price?
No. We validate what you have, fix what's broken, add the Realtime side, and take over maintenance. If you'd rather keep authoring it yourself, keep it. We'll consume it.

Not a bus company or a municipality?

We track delivery vans, taxis and work crews too.

Delivery fleets, taxi and livery operators, and businesses tracking their own vehicles pay a different price, because they do not need the feed work this table pays for.

Not looking for full service?

Already have GPS, or only want the feed?

Keep the GPS you already have and we will put it on a map. Or take nothing but the GTFS feed, built and maintained.
